VICTORIA PARKER-JERVIS Aldeburgh Beach|1992
From the time of her Southwold schooldays, Victoria Parker-Jervis has had a particularly strong feeling for Suffolk. She remains fascinated by the geography of Suffolk, by the bleakness of its landscape in winter, and by the colourfulness of its coastal towns in summer. Soon after completing this Aldeburgh beach scene she stopped painting and moved to Saffron Walden to bring up a young family.
