Tamsin Abbott - Rewilding

Artist's Notes: After twelve months of the pandemic and lockdowns I wanted to create a piece of work that was positive about the future, both for nature and the human community. Beavers perfectly sum up this symbiotic relationship in that their reintroduction does so much to increase and improve habitat for an enormous range of species but their damming systems also help prevent flash flooding lower down the river system which is great news for human communities.
