Gail Brodholt Metroland
Gail Brodholt is a leading painter and linocut printmaker of contemporary urban landscape. Much of her work depicts the London transport network and the journeys made across the city on tubes and trains.
She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE) and her work is permanently on show at the society’s gallery, Bankside (next to Tate Modern).
She is a recipient of many awards and prizes including The Birgit Skiold Award, Paintings in Hospitals prize, Lawrence’s Art Prize and the Art Angels Publishing Prize. She works full-time from her studio in Woolwich, South London.
