DOUGLAS ANDERSON Fox in Deep Snow with Fir Trees

Douglas Anderson is a British artist who was born in 1934. He is a portrait painter, wildlife, and landscape artist. Anderson sold his first painting to a London gallery at the age of 12. In 1955, he moved to Italy and studied portraiture with Pietro Antigone in Florence.

At the age of 27, he became the youngest member of The Royal Society of Portrait Painters. Anderson has travelled extensively painting portraits around the world. He held his first exhibition of wildlife paintings at The Tryon Gallery, London in 1979
