Blackbird & Sunflowers by Denny Webb

Denny is an intuitive, experimental artist who works in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, she is well known for her luminous watercolour paintings using many contemporary techniques which she also loves to share with her students to help inspire them to step out of their comfort zones and re-connect with their creative selves.

This still life series explores the concept of bringing the 'outdoors inside' by merging landscapes with indoor arrangements of flowers, jugs, teapots etc either on a windowsill or table where the outdoors becomes part of the arrangement including the odd bird or two.
