Poetry Pamphlets by Candlestick Press

Candlestick Press is a small, independent publisher based in Nottingham, UK. Since 2008 they have been publishing poetry pamphlets aimed equally at people familiar with poetry and those who are not. Their pamphlets make an ideal alternative to a mainstream greetings card. They have matching envelopes and bookmarks left blank for your message and are excellent companions on boring journeys or good for a bedtime read. Treat yourself, your friends and family – not least your children and their friends – to some wonderful poems. (Candlestick Press are probably the only poetry press to be described as “scrumptious” by the Poet Laureate) they make an excellent introduction to the work of contemporary and historical poets.

"...the best, most poetic solution to card-and-present buying at Christmas..." Carol Ann Duffy, Poet Laureate

"..just what I would like to drop through the letterbox on my birthday..." Nigel Slater, food writer

"...one of the most charming innovations to have crossed my desk..." Robert McCrum, Literary Editor, The Observer
